| Project Title: | High Dielectric Constant Polymer-Ceramic Nano Composites for Millimeter Wave Packaging Applications |
| Abstract of Project : | |
| During my Fulbright grant, I propose to develop high dielectric constant (DK ~ 20), low loss (<0.005) and temperature stable (< 50 ppm/°C) nano composite film that can be used to demonstrate System-on-Package (SOP) technology for miniaturised millimeterwave wireless communication systems. As part of my research, I will sythesize Super-paraelectric nano filler materials which will be dispersed in low loss polymer matrix followed by thin film fabrication. High DK materials that are developed through this project can bring dramatic advances in mm-wave components and systems for emerging consumer (cell phone, mobile computing architectures) and military applications. | |
